Mateo will be exhibiting at Roberts Mansion in Spokane on Friday March 4th from 5pm to 8pm as part of Spokane's First Friday Event. Located at 1923 West First Ave. Come enjoy music, light refreshments and artwork by Mateo!

With my upcoming move it has become necessary for me to temporarily pack up my current studio location and do a bit of downsizing. For the purpose of making some needed room I have decided to hold a sale for all my available originals. Right now thru December 1st, 2010, all of my original pieces will be offered for sale at a 35% discount off the regular price!

This is the first time I have done this sort of thing and it may be the last. So, if you've had your eye on a certain piece either for yourself or as a gift, now might be the time to take advantage!

MATEO SOLO SHOW AT THE WSU MUSEUM OF ART OPENING ON MAY 18!
Mateo will have a solo gallery showing at the Washington State University Museum of Art in Pullman Washington. The show, titled "The World of Mateo" opens to the public on Tuesday May 18th with an opening reception at 6pm and runs through July 2nd.

NEW BOOK FEATURING ORIGINAL MATEO ARTWORK OUT NOW!
A fantastic new book by Dave Oneal titled "Anaheim Vacationland" has finally been published and is now available for purchase. The book is a unique visual history of the area surrounding Disneyland as it appeared in its 1950's and 60's heyday when it was full of wild and highly themed midcentury hotels and amusements. MATEO has illustrated the cover of the book and has provided many original interior illustrations which have been designed to complement the authors amazing collection of photographs and ephemera from this unique period in time.
